The snow here is melting, and and I have started the real training of Lord Korpus, after his little winter vacation.
The most important thing when we start the training, after a immobile period is...HIND LEGS!
So we start with light and easy training, so the horse starts with some fun rides.
We start the first couple of rides with lying the horse deep in walk, then trot, and at last in the canter.
Every time the horse comes out of balance, we lay our legs a little back and push, at the same time we give the horse a signal to lift the hind legs with the whip.
This method we must never forget, and this is the method that we use for everything.
See more about the method, in the post about canter training:
Canter Training With Lord Korpus...
I don't have any pictures of Lord Korpus' training now, so here is another picture with a lot of hind legs action! - The picture is of Prince Chato Come-On Cool, and you can really see how he moves his hind legs up and forward.
Enjoy your training!
