The Spanish Walk in Dressage Training...

I'm not only using the spanish walk for shows, it's also good mental training for the horse.
I use the Spanish walk to get more lift and impulsion in the trot as well as in the canter and walk, and it helps me very much when I start the passage training...

Long Mane & Relaxing Show Training...

Each training starts with grooming, and today it was Prince Chato's mane I should take care of.
First it was braided up, combed with a special brush I put a bit of jelly in, and then made new braids in his mane.

I trained Prince Chato, and exercised the Spanish walk and did podium training.
It is very important to me that my horse relaxes when I ride, so I always talk a lot to them during training. Prince Chato listens to my words and my voice,so it's very important to me that I praise him with my voise as often as possible.
I can clearly feel that our cooperation are much better when we communicate in this way.

Welcome...

Here in the first post I'll tell a little about what you can read here on my blog in the future.
I'll blog about my small tweaks to the training of cold-blood horses, and tell you about how I train my horses everyday.

Besides training, there is also the grooming for the feathers, long manes, large tails, etc., so those things will you also be able to read a lot about here, cause the grooming of my horses takes up a lot of time when I'm out with the horses.
